Glitter quartz is a vibrant variety of agate that impresses with its range of colours. Agates have long been a part of our extensive Juwelo collection, and we've been able to offer you a wide range of varieties - from transparent to opaque, in all conceivable shades (blue, green, red, gray, and more), solid colours or banded. However, this agate displays a completely new face, combining glittering agate with beautifully vibrant hues to create a glamorous whole!

On the surface of this rock, numerous small crystals are arranged, sparkling vividly and making this gemstone an extraordinary focal point. These beauties form as spherical or almond-shaped inclusions in volcanic rocks. When the cavity of this rock almond is filled with crystals, it is called a "druzy" - in contrast, if the interior is completely filled, it is referred to as a "geode." The "glitter quartz" showcases beautiful crystals on its rock surface, making it an exceptional eye-catcher.

Approximately 10 years ago, this sparkling beauty was nothing more than a collector's item, known and cherished only among gemstone collectors. However, today, jewellery designers have succumbed to the fascination of this uniqueness. Our glitter quartz comes from a mine in Madagascar and has been expertly crafted into beautiful pieces of jewellery in Thailand. See for yourself!
